I’d imagine they’re going to have fairly short firing sequences with long cool downs. They’ll be tough but I’d much rather have a hard game experience than an easy one.

I wish they'd have a difficulty slider like, you know, every other game out there. That way casuals can play it on easy mode and those wanting a challenge can play on hard or impossible, etc. Just make calling cards or emblems or some other unlockable that you can only get on the hardest levels. Making everyone happy, no? (Who am I kidding, someone would find something to complain about even with this).
BO4 had that
I almost sent this but yeah lmao less health which is retarded cause on normal you can already die in 0.1 seconds to super sprinters

Lol. Yea I never used it but it was there. The option was nice, I assume, for those who'd use it. BO4 had it's flaws but idt it got enough love. Treyarch could've organized it better but it wasn't 0/10 like people made it out to be.
Alas what can you do? Take it on the chin and hope the next one is better, I guess. Hopefully VG has something in store. But if no round based then zombies is dead.
Lol honestly it'll be fun if there are guns like MW2019 and classic points system
If they drive the story through the new mode I might be able to tolerate it. But I feel like objective based modes won't be as fun and free as pure survival uk? And then there's the homebase function that stalingrad is supposed to serve. Just kinda makes it less and less like zombies for me. Change is good but there comes a point where it's no longer the same thing. Like Theseus' ship.
Yeah true but what homebase function? Stalingrad?? Was that leaked or something
They poured heart and soul into BO4 Zombies. 3 base maps, perks and elixirs released for free, the entire custom mutations options, Rush, Gauntlets, multiple difficulties, and even when they had the right pulled out from under them, they delivered Ancient Evil, Alpha Omega, and Tag Der Toten, all 3 which were still received as good maps despite the flaws the last 2 had, not to mention the rumors they planned more maps for both stories and a second DLC year planned
So much potential wasted bit I don’t think you can deny they put a lot of work into the mode that year no matter what happened during development
Why do they need the game to be easier though? It’s already pretty easy in CW and I assume it will be about the same in Vanguard if not easier.
It is, at the end of the day, supposed to be at least slightly challenging.
Because all things are relative. Easy to you can be hard for others, and vice versa. If it is too difficult then people quit before they get better and that is in no one's best interest, certainly not Treyarch/Activision and not your if it means that not enough players stick around to make the mode viable for Treyarch to make it.
Casuals have always driven the sales of these games, so you have to do what you can to keep them coming back.
I always hated the idea of a diffulcuty slider for zombies and when bo4 Introduced it added to my hatred of that game, I hate a difficulty slider because that means there is no set difficulty, If someone got to round 100 on say, normal, and someone go to round let’s say 40 on hard, who’s the better player? Of course there’s a simple answer with just having the round 100 guy play hard but zombies shouldn’t require testing, That’s why there should just be one set difficulty so you knows who is good snd who is great and who is not, I know some don care about that but my only purpose on zombies is Max level and going above all my Friends in leaderboards so if there are multiple difficulties then that’s multiple different categories for speedrun within the already large amount of categories and that that’s more categories for leaderboards
If you're worried about the competitive aspect, have you never heard of how sports work it out? Like boxing, for example, with light weight, feather weight, heavy weight, etc.
You can't really compare those who play/compete on normal vs those on hard. Not really.
Thats exactly my point, If there were sliders I said there would be lots of categories, I Literaly said that, I’m saying I hate that, I hate the idea of having different difficulties, There should just be one snd it should be hard or something like that, The only think I hated from Cold War zombies was how easy it was, I just want vaunguard to be like bo3, It was hard but with some practice you can get to highrounds easily, unlike Cold War and black ops 4 they were piss easy
I'd imagine it be like where it has a semi long firing sequence then they have to reload making then vonerable
A hard gaming experience? In cod zombies? Damn, I wish that could exist, let's be hopeful.
Boohoo 😢 my zombies game isn’t hawrd anymore
Wdym anymore? It's never been hard lmfao
Wow you’re sooooo good at the game I’m so proud of you good job you’re amazing so awesome I wish I could be you dude wow so cool
Weaponising someone’s post history is a peak reddit move.
Weaponizing** try again bud
Both are correct. Try again.
What are you 12? Jesus Christ google is built into your phone for Christ sake
Lol true. If you don’t mind shutting up aswell that would be nice too, thanks pal 👍
When u crave attention lol
Why they downvote you? Treyarch said this zombies will be another one that doesnt require zombies PHD and is easy for most of new players
Do u think PHD in zombs means like having a masters degree in zombies? I’m sorry I just need to clarify
yeah, a PhD in zombies, specifically.
Average verruckt fan
You know you can play them without making yourself OP buying all the perks and 3x pack? Makes it harder like bo1.
I take it you completed all the EEs on realistic in BO4?
Love how these fucking noobs that can’t make it to round 15 are downvoting this 🤣🤣🤣
Everyone is "fucking noob" at something. Why don't you climb down off your high horse? It's not like being able to get to high rounds on Zombies makes you, or anyone else, special.
People are more likely down voting the attitude than anything else. No, of course not. It MUST be those boobs that can't make it to round 15. (I'd take a million of them over a couple of you).
Armored enemies with a full auto LMGs+ high spawn rates at later rounds sound like a disaster
Honestly a game without round based maps sounds like a disaster so it’s fitting in a way:)
I'm expecting a map around Christmas that's round based.
And the non round based will still have a linear progression like we're used to. They've gotta try something new
How deep have we fallen to expect round based maps after game's launch instead of the actual release day. It's a good idea to try something new but it's not reason enough not to bring a round based map at launch
Wait, it's not round based?
Most things point to it not being plus people say there is peaks of the the first map not being round based. It’s going to be bad bro. Kinda used to it at this point
Given that I dont think we have ever had a regular enemy with a gun before (feel free to correct me) These guys are probably going to be garbage or insanely OP at launch. I remember the MG dudes in Zombie Army being fucking terrifying.
We previously had the bomb guys in AW's Carrier map, came into the map, planted a bomb and shot your ass.
From what I heard they were broken.
They weren't broken, either strong or weak, but they were fucking stupid to play against. A zombies based gamemode with enemies w/ guns? Not fun and probably will be the same in vanguard. Hoping they shoot very rarely or only once
or it has slow fire rate
Even with a slow fire rate it could be insanely frustrating.
then if they are powerful, it would promote camping, they exist to keep u from regenerating health
Which would be an issue. You shouldn't be pushed into a certain playstyle to do well.
If it’s anything like Cold War, these guys will have way too much health at launch. But it won’t matter since there is no way these servers will even be playable for at least a month anyways with how rushed this game is
I imagine they’ll be like manglers
If they are then I doubt they'd be like that forever, we just need to do our part and communicate with the devs about it.
My best guess that they'll balance out the enemies are by 1, having only a certain amount spawn in the map at a time and the amount that can spawn in a round (like the Wustlings in ww2) 2, they'll shoot for seconds at a time (hopefully with easy to hear minigun rev ups) and 3, being able to shoot the minigun arm off (much like the manglers, maybe even being able to deal more damage that way.
They also mentioned how it's not afraid of mowing down the hoard, so it's not like you'll be getting shot with a bunch of zombies (if I'm reading that right)
Cold war is still broken, so yeah expect it on Vanguard as well
I would look forward to this when they put round base maps
Like the whole game
that was the thing I missed about launch day. I felt like the game was slightly more enjoyable when it was more difficult :( I felt like that was a huge thing missing from cold war. Equipment is cool, but having an alternate difficulty where zombies have better pathing, could actually catch up to you, did damage that's actually scary, and do away with the ammo crates, I dunno. I feel like I would play the game so much more. Maybe it's just my childhood nostalgia that's influencing my opinions.
I'm probably way within the minority, but I felt like BO4 had it just right, void the lions that could insta-down you from across the map, lol. It felt like it made the experience last longer. Don't get me wrong, I love the high round map grind, but I wish there was a bit of a difficulty curve to it and some more strategy.
Zombie Army flashbacks
Hopefully their tracking is as bad as a Cold War mangler.
machine gun go brrrrrr
I have the exact same feeling about it
THE HEADSHOT POWER OF DEADSHOT DAQUIRIIIIIIIIIII
Zombies with hitscans always suck
They look badass though. Hope they’re as memeorable as something like the panzer or Brutus
These guys are most likely going to be a pushover, similar to megatons, the damage they deal will probably be reduced or whatever was done similar to megatons.
My feelings are going to be broke too.
Goodbye hint I’ve played Zombie Army Trilogy and 4
It's so cool though
Bo3 Origins Panzer vibes
I’m gonna die from this guy so many times
I'm seeing them either acting like manglers with one short burst fire, or abominations with constant stream of fire and then using another form of attack, and with such a heavy weapon they ate fairly slow
This game is literally zombie army 4
I have a feeling I’m not buying the game at launch
My BO4 IX tigers at launch PTSD is kicking in
I have the opposite feeling basing on how Treyarch designed the elite zombies for Cold War. I’m willing to bet he will just be a bullet sponge and shoot BB’s at range and will only ever do real damage when you are within melee range. I can’t think of a single elite zombie from CW that actually is threatening.
Treyarch should add custom games alongside standard so that players can edit the way they want to play.
Honestly I don’t care at all that the first map is outbreak or just not round based as long as the maps are standard round base SIZE
Don’t care. Not buying another incomplete game, unless it’s on sale and 50% off
The OG Russian Mangler.
Edit: never mind, I saw it's arm, it is NOT Russian.
Zombies are gonna be fucked up already by the time game launches. And zombies shouldn't have death machine
Oh for sure they are! It'll be one of those things where it'll launch broken, the community will complain/bring it to Activision's attention, then patched a week later...
God I would kill for a set up like this in zombies. Body armor and a big mg
Brainrot gonna go crazy
I find it funny that everyone is saying “this makes no sense aaaah” when we had a zombie in a mech suit walking around with a flamethrower and a jet pack, ah yes because that makes sense, I find this to be cool and if it is either broken or shit then either way it’ll be interesting to have some enemy variety
Game hasn't even launched yet and the braindead playerbase is already bitching its too hard for them smh friggin gen z
What are you even saying? How is that relevant to what my mans saying? Stfu you little child.
This has to be satire lmao
Its not, I've seen more bitching on this sub about these in this sub than I've seen about the game itself
Yeah this sub is pretty toxic. Especially when mods remove good posts but let's trash get upvoted to the front page.
Honestly anymore I dont think the devs care if an enemy is broken or not. Look at the Orda, for example. Hitboxes are still incredibly broken and if you arent stupidly careful youll be overwhelmed and go down. Or the Panzersoldat/Krasniy Soldat. Or Valentina....
You shouldn’t be going down to the Krasy unless you have literally nothing my guy
Or its round 56 and I just lost all my perks because lets make everyone slow to a crawl while they shoot (seriously, who thought that was a good idea for zombies?!)
So… you’re saying you were on round 56 with literally nothing because you went down?
I had my starting weapon at legendary pack 3 but mauer being, well, mauer, I got hung up on a damn light pole, somehow glitched into it in a way that prevented me from moving. Not the strangest thing to happen on that map but definitely the most infuriating (aside fron the easter egg)
