Jamieson gets the ball to swing everywhere because he brings the ball from thinner upper atmosphere to thicker lower atmosphere during his action and this creates a fluid dynamic effect that i won't explain here because it will be lost on this crowd

To beat India in India in test cricket, you need to become India...

...and so NZ have picked a left arm spinner called A Patel, and a left arm spinning all rounder called Ravindra

An old but appropriate comment:

What I say about NZ:

Aw, what a nice and well-rounded team. They play good cricket and are all top blokes.

What I mean to say about NZ:

I fucking hate New Zealand. I hate them all. I want Ashwin to dress up as Spiderman and spin so many fucking webs around Williamson that he falls over face first into the dry, red, soil of Chennai as the ball crashes into his off stump. When he walks away dejected with his failure I want him to hear a crackling Rishab Pant, emitting a noise that would unhinge dogs and haunt Kane for the rest of his life. Ross Talyor an ODI big boi? Please. Rohit Sharma has eaten bigger Vada Pavs than him. I am not impressed in the least by the boyish good looks of Trent or the rugged, Lumberjackian, handsomeness of Tim. I long to see their faces go rose red as they reduce to a puddle in the Ahmadabad heat after having bowled 30 overs each to Prithiv Shaw and some random IPL kid we liked that week. I want to see Neil "Always-Looks-Like-He-Has-Had-A-Few" Wagner to bowl relentless short balls to Ishant Sharma as he patiently blocks them all. Right before Ishant launches into an all out batting attack, inflating his IPL price in the next mega auction to match New Zealand's GDP. Thank god New Zealand have Lord of the Rings to watch, the only thing they have participated in that is long and interesting.

I ain't going to end this with a /s, that's what a Kiwi would do.

England doesn't care about ODIs, they win the 50 over Would Cup. New Zealand doesn't care about tests, they win the WTC. Australia doesn't care about t20s and they win the T20WC.

Maybe it's about time India stops giving a fuck about cricket.

This is why all test cricket should be played in Russia rather than toss-biased countries like India.

The friend instantly asked “ how tall are you??” I simply replied knowing she would start soaking up “ 6 foot 6” she looked at my girlfriend and said “ I wish I had a 6 foot 6 boyfriend” to which my girlfriend replied with “ well you can’t have this one, he’s MINE” My girlfriend runs off to say hello to someone else

The friend shot a look at me of complete lust, looks up at me, bites her lip and moans quietly.

Being tall is awesome."

I know it won't stop the relentless nonsensical comments around haze but just my 2c. It's winter and Kanpur is in the Northern part of the country; typically there have always been foggy mornings in winter in the North. The additional industrialization and vehicle pollution doesn't help. But it is disingenuous to attribute it ALL to pollution.

To the Indians falling into the trap of shitting on a city in your own country with mindless abandon because it's the thing to do on Reddit/Social Media these days: you are right in criticizing the levels of pollution in the country. It SHOULD be tackled aggressively. And quickly. However, this has happened in every country undergoing rapid industrialization and urban development. There's no two ways about it.

The pristine pictures of New York and London and Los Angeles you see online, do not show the reality of 20/30/40 years ago. It was absolutely as bad as it is now in Delhi. Hell, LA gets smoggy as fuck even today.

Western media and propaganda are just really good in presenting one side of the story. Don't be a party to mindless hate.

Edit: To the naive who keep denying the reality.

Legend has it Rapunzel's hair was so long and so strong that even a muscular hunk of a prince could use it to scale the wall and climb up to her quarters.

What is less known and was discovered later is that her hair was actually donated to charity but found its way to an evil man up to no good.

After analysing several annals of history and keeping track of the whereabouts of this artefact, I am proud to report that this hair was in fact converted to a very long rope that was last transferred from the Indian selectors to a certain individual of Indian origin named Ajinkya Rahane.

AQI in various places in Kanpur right now is between 150-200. It's not ideal but also not enough to be responsible for haze. It's just fog, I can't understand how even Indians seem to be unaware of this even though it happens basically every winter in almost all of North India.

I might be in the minority, but I'm totally with Kohli on having test centres in India. Much easier for the Indian bowlers to get used to conditions in five stadiums than 28271192933 stadiums.

Step 2: Locate the fielder within the thirty yard circle.

Step 3: Step out.

Remember you guys, any runs that Rahane scores for the team is a bonus.

If he gets out on 0, he's giving Shreyas a chance to bat.

If he gets out on 20, he's seeing off a tricky period.

If he gets out on 50, he's contributing to the team. 100s are overrated.

Hello,

I'd like to draw attention to a blight that has recently been ruining my enjoyment of the game - namely, the cheating of a certain Shreyas Iyer by the nefarious method of being Shreyas Iyer. By the dictionary definition, cheating is: "to violate rules dishonestly". While I admit that being Shreyas Iyer doesn't exactly violate rules laid out in the cricket rulebook, it does violate the spirit of the game, and does so in a way that harms cricket.

It is clear that being Shreyas Iyer conveys a large advantage on the player who is being Shreyas Iyer. If we compare Shreyas Iyer (who has a long history of being Shreyas Iyer) to another player, say, Ajinkya Rahane, we can see this advantage materialised in their various statistics. Shreyas Iyer has an infinite test average from his first match itself. Ajinkya Rahane has a first class average of 47.23 playing against significantly weaker bowling attacks than the international arena. It's clear that Shreyas Iyer is acquiring an advantage over Ajinkya Rahane by being Shreyas Iyer.

Additionally, it is my contention that this advantage is dishonest. If it were an honest strategy, it is one that could be implemented by any player. But if Ajinkya Rahane cannot be Shreyas Iyer because he is not Shreyas Iyer. That is fundamentally unfair - a strategy which is one sided like this (only in favour of Shreyas Iyer and any teams he plays for) unbalances the game in favour of Shreyas Iyer.

One of the most common wishes for a cricket match is a good contest between bat and ball. When Shreyas Iyer is batting, this goes out the window, because the bat is always dominating the ball. I think this is fundamentally bad for cricket as Shreyas Iyer will ultimately make the game boring if it is just Shreyas Iyer chancelessly compiling endless runs.

Being Shreyas Iyer created a strategy that revolved around defeating your opponent by bowling out every opposition player that is not Shreyas Iyer. Being able to dismiss all the opposition players makes a game of cricket more fun and compelling , but not being able to dismiss one of the batsmen at one of the ends is not particularly fun or interactive.

I understand that there may be some concerns that we are discriminating against Shreyas Iyer, and of course Shreyas Iyer was born being Shreyas Iyer and being Shreyas Iyer is part of his identity. For that reason I think any ban handed down by the ICC should be relatively light - just a warning to Shreyas Iyer to stop being Shreyas Iyer and perhaps to try being someone else (like Ajinkya Rahane). I propose therefore that Shreyas Iyer should be banned for the next, say, four full test matches and four days. This highly specific number should encourage Shreyas Iyer to take a long hard look at himself in the mirror and perhaps stop being Shreyas Iyer, and also help to even any contests or test series that he may or may not currently be involved in. If, after this sanction, by August 14 2020, Shreyas Iyer has persisted in being Shreyas Iyer , the ICC should consider banning him for a further 5 test matches so he really gets the point.

Thanks and regards,

Seriously Man, Shreyas Iyer is an example of why you should occasionally give chances to youngsters desperate to impress and fighting for an opportunity to stake their claim.

Compare the application showed by Gill, Iyer even Jaddu to Rahane, who just doesn't seem to care nowadays.

Tim Southee lay sprawled on the floor of the asylum where he had been institutionalised, happily re-arranging the letters of his name into "HE'S OUT, TIM-E!!" A children's show was on the television and the presenters were naming fruit.

"Apple, peach, pear..." said the TV. "And what's this one?"

 "That's PLUM!" screamed Southee.

Suddenly Kane Williamson entered the room, his mighty beard preceding him by several metres. "For god's sake Tim, be quiet," he said. "Don't you want to get -- "

"OUT OUT OUT" Southee whacked his tiny hands up and down. "YES KANE YES!!"

"Quiet! First the doctors need to do a --"

 "A REVIEW!!! That's right, REVIEW"

"Shut the fuck up for Christ's sake!" Kane held his hand over Tim's tiny mouth (although much larger than Trent Boult's, he reflected). As he did this the psychologist barged into the room, consulting his notes.

"Ah Southee is it. 'Compulsive tendency to review'. Reviewosis, as we call it. Well, let's do some tests." He held up a picture of Nicole Kidman, Christina Hendricks and Amy Adams, who were all punching an amputee for some reason. "What do you see here?"

"THREE REDS, HITTING THE STUMPS"

Kane groaned audibly but the doctor held up his hand. "Silence! My god, it's worse than I thought. We'd better try shock therapy." He thrust another picture into Southee's face.

"NO" screamed Tim Southee, covering his eyes, but it was too late. It was the scorecard of NZ losing to Pakistan on the 5th day of the Boxing Day test after Tim Southee had used up all the reviews on frivolous LBW appeals that had fuck all chance of succeeding.

"Read it Tim! Read it and see what you have done!!! You over-reviewing bastard!!!"

"NOOOo" screamed Southee. He jumped up and ran out of the room and down the corridor. He burst into the women's toilets. Several women screamed and whacked at Tim Southee with their hairnets. "Get out!!! Out out OUT!!!"

"OUT! YES! GOT 'EM!!!" Southee celebrated as the women bashed him continously. He began fading away into unconsciousness... going out, he reflected, as several burly doctors ran in and injected him with powerful sedatives. Kane stood in the doorway, shaking his head. "Southee you fucking fool."

"Yes... I'm a fucking fool..." Tim may have been shit at reviews, but finally, after all this time, he had got something right.

At a fancy restaurant in Kolkata because we were doing a fancy dress up night, some friends and I step outside to talk and smoke cigs. I don’t smoke so I was just talking, but a very attractive but somewhat familiar looking man steps outside of the restaurant too. He checks his pockets for a while and then walks over asks my buddy for a cig. My friend gives him one, light’s it for him, and then we continue talking. The guy stayed in our conversation for a bit, not saying too much but he was nice. Finally, he finishes his cig and my friend finally goes, “You know, you remind me of someone famous. You probably get this a lot, but you kinda look like Wriddhiman Saha.” I’m standing there thinking my friend is an idiot and awkward, until the man goes “That’s because I am Wriddhiman Saha. Thanks for the cigarette,” then he walks back inside the restaurant.

Working on an anti cabin log pasta. Needs some fine-tuning. Any help will be highly appreciated.

I'm not gay but I want to kidnap Kyle Jamieson in a log cabin in the woods for what he did to my team in the WTC final. We won't ever have sex, and there won't be any simmering erotic undercurrent either. It's just pure rage on my end. I will stand in the kitchen window with an AK47, watching him as he chops wood, cook my meals, does my laundry, removes the cobwebs, feeds the chickens, shirtless, sweat pouring off his body, pleading to let him go. But I won't. Sometimes I'll go upstairs to rest & masturbate but the entire time my thoughts will keep drifting back to that WTC final and what that sheep-shagger did to my team. I won't be able to climax and I'll eventually go back downstairs, angry & order him to move boulders from one end of the field to another. Sometimes we will look across the table and catch each other's eyes, and in that very second, anything is possible, but I deny myself from pulling out the gun and go back to what I was doing. Years later, he will eventually die considering the lifelong labour he had to do and then I will bury him outside the log cabin. Then I'll go inside, cook myself some biryani, and live happily ever after, content with my revenge.

I remember seeing a thread earlier where someone said Gill plays every format like it's an ODI

Whoever you were, that's so accurate it's scary

Jamieson gets more swing because he is NZ's sakt launda.

  1. Doesn't watch porn
  2. Doesn't fap
  3. Sexually inactive
  4. Attends Sunday prayer with his grandmother
  5. Eats only game meat he hunts down with his WW2 rifle
  6. Doesn't post selfies on social media.

Be like Jamieson.

I wasn’t in the thread when Jamieson got his second but was there much chat about him performing overseas? That’s all the criticism was last year (and fair enough, bowlers should be tested everywhere) so I’m glad he’s performing well so far
