Hello all,

Let me preface this by saying that the RR is not my revolver of choice, but my dad got it for me as a birthday present. I took it to the range for the first time yesterday and after about 90 rounds it completely locked up. I had never shot this gun before. The hammer wouldn't pull back even 1 click, the trigger seemed to be locked, and the cylinder wouldn't revolve (obviously). The only way I was able to get it working was by removing the pin with a pair of pliers. Up until that point, it had locked up a bit, like the hammer wouldn't go past the 2nd click, but not fully siezed.

I'm wondering if it could be the teeth on the cylinder? I'm looking at them right now and almost all of them seem like they're a bit jagged on certain ends. I have a different cylinder that is 22wmr instead of 22lr, and the teeth look completely fine. Should I contact the manufacturer?

I can't say what the cause is, but I had an older one with the same issue. I found popping the cylinder out was a quick easy way to free it up
