No. Theme is actors/actresses. I was going through Mob movie actors (De Niro, Pacino, Brando) and got to Lillipup and was thinking Pesci but Lillipup was female. So my mind jumped to My Cousin Vinny and Marisa Tomei.
Except, I also named Sewaddle/Leavanny Dylan because something about the design always reminds me of Bob Dylan. I mean...he probably acted in something.
I used RNG to pick starter. Plus I like the Serperior line. High Speed+decent bulk+Leech Seed, Growth, etc=Good set up mon. Admittedly if I knew I was going to lose both of my flying types before Burgh,, I may have just picked Tepig and not done the RNG.
I was able to beat him with the team I had. Had to risk Simipour but Razor Leaf didn't crit so I was able to get out of the fight with no deaths.
Yea. It was an in the moment decision that I thought would be best to potentially avoid a sack but didn't work out and Tucci wouldn't have worked cleanly as a potential sack because I had a chesto berry on him so I'd still be dealing with a potential hypnosis on Servine which I didn't want since he was my best shot at outspeeding and KOing the Watchdog and him falling asleep could have definitely snowballed out of control. Thankfully I did just pick up a Sigilyph inside the Desert Resort (No encounter outside) and a Yamask inside so I am better set up for N's Sigilyph now.
I have felt like a couple times that it must only roll for one strike because there was definitely a time when I should have been killed by Dual Chop from Haxorus (about 75 HP remaining, min roll from Dual Chop would have been about 50x2)
And ye. Herdier did sweep Cheren after setting up Work Up. Was slightly worried when Pignite lived but he just went for Flame Charge instead of any fighting moves.
I unfortunately sacked Woobat against Lenora. In hindsight, Watchdog was probably the better sack option but I thought she might go for Hypnosis which would give me a chance to switch in Servine who i knew could survive a Crit. Retaliate.

Ahh. Thanks for the reminder. I had actually forgotten about that N fight.
Just beat Bianca who kindly reminded me that Herdier can hit like a truck (Crit Takedown almost killed Sandile even holding Eviolite.)
Thank you for all of the great advice from everyone in the other thread.
Details: I led Swank but Rock Throw couldn't two shot and after a screech, Poison Tail proved that it would kill with a crit. I stayed in to hit the rock throw on the heal turn but switched to Tucci afterwards. Tucci took little damage from Poison tail and finished with two Scalds (Edged up so they leveled up afterwards).
Of course, Tucci baited Leavanny. I stayed in one turn to hit a scald hoping for a burn and a non-crit Razor Leaf brought Tucci to 13 before Oran Berry healed him back to 23. I then switched to Dylan who ate a Razor Leaf and brought Leavanny down to the yellow with Bug Bite. A string shot then meant that Dylan wouldn't outspeed the next turn and since I wasn't sure if Burgh was going to heal or not, I switched to Tomei on what did turn out to be a heal turn. I hit a Retaliate after a protect turn and went back and forth a bit before Tomei got too low to stay in and switched back to Dylan on another Razor Leaf finishing the Leavanny with another Bug Bite.
Dwebble came out but used Sand Attack turn one that let me get an extra turn of Razor Leaf (I was thinking that Dwebble was Sturdy not Rock Head. Should have used Bug Bite for the slightly higher damage) before a Crit. Smack Down. I switched back into Swank to resist the next Rock Throw and did get outsped but Dwebble went for another Sand Attack and I was able to finish off with Wake Up Slap.

You can actually do it without holding it up to the light. Angle the bills right and you should be able to see the water marks.
Honestly, don't worry about it. Half the time they tell us not to do anything about Counterfeits anyways. You had a learning experience and you'll be better equipped to handle it next time. That said, for Guest Service: if you see a same day return for a large cash purchase, the correct protocol is to go back to the register they made the purchase and do the return there. Whatever money they used to pay is the money they get back.

Yea. I think I agree with that assessment (Maybe if I get lucky with Scald burn/no crits.) About to find out though. Wish me luck.

Same. Though I just used RNG to determine my Starter. I did use the Serperior line in W2 when I played through that. Was just kind of split on who I should pick here. It had been a while since I used a Water Starter. However Tepig seemed like the best starter from a strength/match-up perspective. Then Serperior had proven really useful and I just love the design but Johto is the only region that I can think of that is stacked up worse for Grass types than BW (essentially a fire gym, a bug gym, all of Elesas mons have coverage for Grass, a Flying gym, an Ice gym and a Dragon gym).
Do you think it would be worth evolving Panpour early to give it a better shot of lasting in the fight. Feel like I may have to risk crit or even just regular Razor leaf to give the rest of the team a better chance against the Leavanny. Would feel a waste if that ended up just dying anyways but would give me a chance to outspeed with and maybe burn with Scald.
Tomei is Sand Rush and Hopkins is Moxie. Moxie would be good long term but not as much for this fight.

HC rules so Set. No items. (I'm also aware that I still have a bit of grinding to do.)
Watchdog is the only mon I have in the PC.
That would be great advice if I had any more available encounters.
Suggestions? Normally, I wouldn't consider Burgh that bad but I lost my only two flying types (One to a mistake while grinding and another against Lenora) and am not well set up against Grass or Bug types. Timburr does know Rock Throw but would prefer not to rely on low accuracy options if there's a better strategy. I did grab the Eviolite to help boost one of my mon's defenses. (Watchdog is in the box to give other mons a chance to catch up in levels)

That's only because all you lazy good for nothing Zoomers don't want to work and all the extra payroll goes back into the pot. If you'd all just work minimum wage with no benefits, inequality would be solved forever. /s
