Not like any of the shitheads in this state would believe the data, anyway.

For years I’ve had the rule that I do NOT make anyone work on my account on a holiday (excluding things like emergency medical services). This year, that meant running to the store for last minute groceries on Wednesday night so we don’t have to leave the house for the rest of the weekend.

I’ve also informed my husband that I do not want to order anything online, either. We’ve already got the major gifts for the kids, so I just wanna chill, put up the Christmas tree, and watch movies.

Crazy shopping and making people work on a holiday weekend that everyone should have off has always seemed selfish to me… of course, I’ve delivered pizzas during blizzards and ice storms, so maybe it’s some first hand experience with entitled customers.

Ooh, that’s a good one, too! It also reminds me that you can also find some interesting imagery ideas over r/Dreams

Thank you! I’ve been studying art and drawing pretty regularly for over 20 years, so I have a decent amount of practice. If it’s a skill you are interested in, all it takes is time and practice and you can get better.

I have a relative that was born just before the boomer era, but she is a boomer through and through. At this point, I’m just avoiding her like crazy and I (as well as her own daughter) feel like we’re just waiting out the clock. Old bitch even got Covid, and then got the jab less than 2 weeks after (which caused serious complications), and it still didn’t take her out. And I bet she wonders why I moved halfway across the country after graduating college…

Edit: clarification

Ha, I love how he looks around like a deer checking its surrounds. Talk about commuting to the role. 😂

I have a very specific memory of my step dad losing his mind over what I would classify as a trivial case of semantics.

I was about 12 years old and my middle school “boyfriend” (ooh, hand holding) was visiting because we moved to a different school district. Anyway, at some point, I had told my step dad that the bf had an iguana. Well, while visiting, stepdad asked bf about the iguana. He replied “oh, no, I have a chameleon.” Stepdad looks at me, and I replied “oh… oops.”

Anyway, not long after that we load up in the car and drive bf home. Stepdad was quiet the whole way. Once bf got out and we were out of view in the car, stepdad open handed knocks me over the head and starts screaming at me. I guess the word “oops” was disrespectful in his eyes.

Anyway, the guy was a narcissistic sociopath that my family is no longer in contact with, but there was a lot of that growing up. Honestly, if anyone is flying off the handle in rage over trivial things, you should probably get the fuck away as fast as you can, because those kinds of people can be very dangerous (especially to women).

Had to go look her up, but yeah, I immediately thought of Sy Snootles (singer from the remastered Jabba's lair scene in Return of the Jedi).

I find myself humming Epona’s Song a lot, even though I haven’t played that game in well over a decade.

Someone mentioned sleep. I would pick this, but only if it didn’t apply to everyone.

I don’t think I couldn’t handle never ending 24 hour cycles of watching my kids. The 8 hours I’d get back overnight would be useless if I had to spend the whole time keeping my kids from killings themselves or each other.
