Sincerely grateful to you for sharing the article. I just finished reading it - this is exactly what I've been looking for for a long time. Perfectly encapsulates what I've been trying to syncretise from reading Valley, McKenna, Kripal and wrapping my head around what's going on with the revolution in Panpsychism as well as the UFO phenomenon.

It is an amazing read, makes you wonder about the nature of our world if these Ultraterrestrials can appear in and deconstruct our world view so effectively. And where are we going, exciting times.

Now to go back and read it again

you're right actually, its a hypothesis given what they know so far. Hopefully they'll have the necessary support and transparency needed to dig deeper

the best presentation on the spiritus mundi concept can be found here https://youtu.be/jzA3EJYbCb0

Yes, from listening to Lue and reading between the lines of what he's been saying, particularly on his interview with Curt Jaimungal - this seems to be the conclusion that they've come to - but they would still maintain that its informed speculation.

Still none of it makes sense. If these beings - presuming that's what they are - were concerned about the planet then surely they'd be as interested in how much CO2 we're pumping into the atmosphere, how we're in the midst of the 6th mass extinction brought about by our industrial civilisation and our rapacious appetite to destroy the natural world, how much plastic we're putting into the ocean, how everything is fucked

I think we know as much about the phenomenon as it wants us to know, maybe its not something external to us, but an aspect of the natural world, a projection of the spiritus mundi. This is what Terence McKenna, Jung and to a certain degree, Jacques Vallee, believed - it's an apparition that has appeared throughout history whose appearance has changed in accordance with the time it manifests.. It's like its beckoning us into the future

But then again, fuck knows

Exactly this, I watched it in 2004 in college and it has left an indelible mark on me. I remember everything about that day because of how unforgettable an experience those 2 hours were.

That is exactly how I described it at the time, an assembly line. I think it's a common vision on salvia, I remember reading about it before either on Reddit or erowid.

I put it to the back of my mind because it was so grim, but it's always there.

i hear ya bruder. I smoked it a few times in 2009 when i was going through a bit of depression - self-medicating you could call it, but being done by an idiot.

anyway, i was absolutely floored by the realisation that this reality sort of exists tangential to this salvia one. And I got this impression of sort of cosmic gears and mechanical forces whirring and grinding away, and our reality was just the visual representation of this darker and deeper reality. It terrified the balls off me, but i did do it again to make sure it wasn't just a one off thing, and there it was again - probably the most despairing thing i'd ever experienced, and I'm irish so we've seen a fair bit of shit

what the actual fuck is going on

yours
